Hey, isn’t this great news? I have been dying to see my favorite Lee Pace in a new avatar, even though I frequently watch Pushing Daisies episodes online to stay in touch with the star.

As per sources, Lee Pace has been signed for ‘Breaking Dawn’, of Summits Productions, which is famous for creating the ‘Twilight Saga.’ In fact, this film is another continuation of the saga.

The lead role in the film will be played by Robert Pattison. Pattison plays Edward Cullen, while Pace will play Garrett, who is a close friend of Cullen.

Sources have also disclosed that Lee will play a vampire who is humble and nomadic and displays a preference for long hair, which he neatly ties up to form a pony tail. Well, his new funky look will be much different from his somber look in Pushing Daisies episodes. Oh, I am quite eager to watch him in his new look.

Robert Pattison has a great fan following. In fact, Mark and Spencer have cashed on this aspect and have launched an exclusive range of underwear, which has been inspired by Pattison.

People are so crazy about the star that they will invest on anything related to the star and this is evident from the fact that those who don’t wear hipsters have also bought these just to get close to their favorite star.

I fervently hope that Lee Pace also acquires the same fan following after becoming a part of aforesaid big banner project.

(Download Pushing Daisies from here with incredible data transfer speed)
Pace had been critically acclaimed for his debut as Dick Hickcock, a terror instigating killer in ‘Infamous.’ The film was directed by Doug McGrath.

If that’s not enough, you can also appreciate his work in all seasons of Pushing Daisies available right here.

You must be thrilled to know that Pushing Daisies star Anna Friel has been awarded a role in Dark Fields film. Remember, her role of a protagonist who is restored back to life but can’t touch her beloved boyfriend. Well, she will be playing Bradley Cooper’s ambitious ex-wife in the film. But, the character is not as quirky as in the Pushing Daisies episodes.

Cooper is playing the character of a writer who accidentally stumbles over a new drug which makes him extremely intelligent. He is able to write a book and study foreign languages in a very short span of time when he consumes the drug. Nevertheless, as is the case with all drugs, this MTD-48 drug also has its side effects. It initiates the withdrawal symptoms which may consequently lead to homicidal tendencies. Another side effect of this drug is that the time has a stop motion quality. The film in based on a novel of the same name written by Alan Glynn.

You must be aware that Pushing Daisies has been cancelled, but you can easily watch Pushing Daisies episodes online via this website.

The film will be ready for release by next spring. If you want more of Anna Friel, you can always watch Pushing Daisies online at this website with amazing audio and video quality.

Anna Friel started acting at a very young age. She has been appreciated for her performance time and again. After the cancellation of Pushing Daisies, she had been offered six pilot roles. She refused all six as she wanted to concentrate on movies. It is great to know that Friel has got some good work as she will be starring with some great stars like Bradley Cooper, Robert DeNiro and Abbie Cornish.

So, be ready to digest a quirk less Anna Friel. If you want to recall those quirky moments of Anna, download Pushing Daisies episodes from this site as we have good buffering speed. This means that you will be able to create your own library of all the episodes as well as seasons of this hilarious show.

One of the most fun things of any press tour is getting to sit down with Chi McBride and just talk, about anything. Politics, baseball, cigars… when you’re talking to Chi, the conversation can go just about anywhere.

The drawback to seeing McBride on so many tours is that he’s always there with a new show to promote. Because he’s able to handle drama and comedy with equal ease, he’s cast in a lot of pilots. The problem is, most of the resulting shows rarely last more than a couple of years. In the last six years, since his four-season run on ‘Boston Public’ ended, we’ve seen McBride in ‘Killer Instinct,’
‘The Nine’ and ‘Pushing Daisies.’ Now he’s co-starring with Mark Valley and Jackie Earle Haley in the FOX popcorn-action series ‘Human Target.’

I sat with McBride as he held court at FOX’s all-star party in Pasadena last month. As he puffed away on an Opus X — he offered me one and I very reluctantly declined — we talked about which of his roles he misses the most, and how he does his running scenes on ‘Target.’ Let’s just say he doesn’t waste too much film on those.

Do you find that when people run into you, they’re talking about ‘The John Larroquette Show?’ Are people running into you talking about ‘The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer,’ ‘The Nine’ or ‘Pushing Daisies’ or any of the other shows you’ve been on?

Yeah. It happens all the time, which is good. Because for one, people remember you, and they remember your work and what you did, and they’re interested in still hearing your take about things that are long gone. I think it’s flattering, you know, that people think that much of you or your work in order to ask about those questions in retrospect.

I always felt ‘The John Larroquette Show’ was under-appreciated in its time…
Yeah. I think it was a little bit ahead of its time. You know, it was a dark, you know, subversive kind of sardonic television series.

It matched his personality and the characters he usually plays.
Yeah, I mean really. And I really miss those days because everything I learned about being a comic actor on television I learned from John.

I was talking to a colleague of mine about ‘Desmond Pfeiffer.’ That’s a show that seems to be always on people’s Worst of All Time lists.

You know what was great? I read a book called ‘The 100 Stupidest Things Ever Done on Television,’ and that show was in there. And they said wonderful things about me, which was cool, because it was like “Yeah, apparently Chi McBride is bulletproof.” So that was good to hear. I don’t take it that seriously, but it’s good to hear that people appreciated what I did and that, and actually what they were talking about was that it was crazy for them to take it off.

Did they take it off because of pressure?
Yeah.

So it wasn’t bad ratings or bad quality, it was pressure from groups who thought it was racist?

Yeah. People who had a political agenda, you know. And people like that never waste an opportunity to get in and get their digs in in order to really further highlight what it is their agenda is. So it was no stranger to that. And it lives forever on YouTube.

Out of the shows that you’ve done that have not made it, which one do you miss the most?

Probably ‘Daisies.’ I really was having fun. I really loved playing Emerson. It was a lot closer to my own personality than many of my other roles. So I really was having a really good time.

Do you think the writer’s strike killed that show?

I think it certainly helped. I don’t think that it helped the cause of that show at all. And when you’ve got a show that’s really just out of the gate that’s more different than anything on television, the one thing people need to do is see it. It’s tough when people walk off the job. And for what they ended up getting, it really wasn’t worth the walk.

Do you think the writers compromised too much?

It isn’t even a matter of that. I think that the whole thing could’ve been resolved without walking off the job. You know? I mean I just… once you walk off the job, man.. I mean look at baseball. With all the flap about steroids, what people forget is, the irony about that is, if it wasn’t for steroids..steroids brought baseball back. Because steroids are what gave way for the long ball. And that’s what made people start coming out again.

There was a lot of upheaval due to the strike…

People don’t like you messing with their TV shows, man! You know what I mean? People get really invested, they get an emotional attachment. And when you go for what people perceive to be… It doesn’t matter what the real issues are. The perception out there is that everybody that’s on television has a 16-bedroom house, you know, and great danes and hounds, and grounds, and drive around their grounds on a golf cart. And it’s really hard to you know, sort of take the gas out of that theory.

And when people have that perception and you walk off the job, I mean while they gotta get up at 6:00 in the morning to go to a job they can’t stand, then their attitude is they flip you off and they don’t f—ing watch. You know? And it takes something special to bring it back. And the new crop of shows that came back are the ones that pretty much stayed. And the new crop of shows that was in that year pretty much fell by the wayside with probably the exception of maybe ‘Chuck.’

Why do you think ‘Chuck’ got the chance and ‘Pushing Daisies,’ ‘Jericho,’ and some of the other ones didn’t?

I think because they had a lot more episodes, they had a rabid following, and NBC really stuck with it because they really didn’t have a choice. They really didn’t have anything, and they gave it a chance and an opportunity to grow its audience. But ABC man, they’ve got stuff in development, they’ve got rooms full of that stuff, you know what I mean? If you know you’ve got ‘Modern Family’ on deck, are you gonna keep something that’s gonna be kind of fledgling and sort of wobbling on the track?

Is there any thought from Bryan Fuller to bring ‘Daisies’ back in some form?

He’s doing a graphic novel right now.

But nothing more than that?

Not at this point. Not that I know of. I think we’ve sufficiently moved on and we’ve all gone to other things. But ‘Daisies’ was special to everybody who did it. And people are still winning awards for it, and getting nominated for awards for it. So it’ll live on in its own way and that’ll be that. Whatever happens, happens. If they end up doing something else, we’ll see if we’re all available.

By the way, how do you think they handled that last episode, with the rushed ending?
Well, they did the best they could with what they had, you know what I mean? There was only really so much they could do. So with what they had, I think they made good out of it.

With ‘Human Target,’ what more action sequences are we going to be seeing (your character) Winston doing, besides flight attendant ass kicking?
Well, you’ll see some shooting, you’ll see a little bit of running. He hates chasing people. That’s what he really hates more than anything. So I’m sure at some point you’re going to see how much he hates it, and what happens when he does.

Does Chi hate it as much as Winston?
Yes. I tell everybody, “If I gotta run, look, I’ll do it. I don’t wanna hear any ‘hair in the gate,’ I don’t wanna hear any ‘soft focus.’ This is it. Alright? So get everybody going. Take a practice run with another actor, if you want. But if I’m gonna get in here, you’re gettin’ one.”

No, I understand. Look, I’ve got a big belly too. I’m not a big runner either, so I can understand. And you’re probably still in better shape than I am.
Well, I try to stay in good shape, you know, good enough to do my stunts. And it’s always better if you do them yourself, you know what I mean? But it’s been fun.

Do you and Mark (Valley) just get together and just talk about all the different shows you guys have been on? Does any of that come up?
Yeah, we talk about our experiences. Mark’s a really good dude, man. Mark does all the heavy lifting and never complains. And it really sets a tone for everybody involved. And we know that we’re all there to work. We have a good time…we have a lot of fun, but we work. And we’re serious about that. We try to make the days as productive as possible.

Last I wrote about venerable TV scribe Bryan Fuller, he was rejoining Heroes after the death of Pushing Daisies. In June, he left Heroes to pursue two other projects for NBC, and today we’ve finally caught wind of what he’s been working on. Variety reports that he’s adapting the Augusten Burroughs book Sellevision together with Bryan Singer as an hourlong dramedy. The series will follow the behind the scenes adventures of a home shopping network (could this be Fuller’s Sports Night?). The second project is a half-hour sitcom, No Kill, set inside a no-kill animal shelter.

I’m glad to see Fuller taking on new territory by tackling a sitcom, but I’m far more interested in Sellevision because I’m a huge fan of his previous dramedy work with Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls (inasmuch as you can call that a dramedy). Also the idea of him collaborating with Bryan Singer sounds very much like a dream scenario. Singer has had good luck so far with his TV projects, House and Dirty Sexy Money, so I’m not at all surprised that he’s willing to tackle another one.

Fuller stresses that Sellevision won’t aim to satirize home shopping networks, and will instead be a more “grounded take” on that market:

I love the world of home shopping — it’s such a rich world. There are those great metaphors of consumerism, buying happiness, all of that chasing material thing.

Fuller is also still working on a comic-book version of Pushing Daisies, which he’s hoping will serve as a map for a future Daisies film.

The second season of the series came to an end on June 13, 2009 with the season finale entitled “Kerplunk”. As per the Nielsen ratings, the season ender received 2.23 million viewers. Though the last episode of the season failed to attract a big no. of audience, the initial episodes did a brilliant job in terms of ratings. The season opener “Bzzzzzzzzz!” attracted 6.32 million viewers. The ratings remained good till the episode “The Norwegians” which drew in 4.82 million viewers. The next three episodes namely Window Dressed to Kill, Water and Power and Kerplunk failed to get a good response from viewers and get 2.35, 2.29 and 2.23 millions respectively. Ultimately, Pushing Daisies lost its existence and went in the box of the canceled TV shows. Although fans were not ready to give up their favorite TV shows, they had to bow down in front of the show creators and accept their not-good decision.

The series went off air on June 13, 2009 and the DVD of the second season would come into stores approximately after one month to it. Warner Brothers Home Entertainment is planning to release the DVD of the second season on July 21, 2009. Okay, tell me, what is the logic behind releasing the DVD of a show which has been canceled due to the poor ratings? Well, I think that Pushing Daisies shows can never be forgotten and that’s what the DVD producers make use of. They get profit out of the fans’ love for TV shows and movies etc. In order to satisfy their lust for watching the episodes of Pushing Daisies, fans would rush to nearest DVD store to get one. And, it’d help the DVD companies to earn profit. If you too are planning to buy a DVD to have the collection of Pushing Daisies episodes, read the following lines first and then make any decision. Here, we are offering complete episodes of Pushing Daisies TV show. Avail the membership of the website by paying one time charges and download all seasons of Pushing Daisies here. Our next to nothing fee would cost you much less than the cost of the DVD.

Season one of Pushing Daisies was a beautiful anomaly. Not only was it critically acclaimed (getting nominated for 11 Emmys and winning 3) it was also a success in the ratings, something that surprised even the critics who loved it, since original and quirky programming generally doesn’t attract a large audience. Then the writers’ strike happened, the nine episodes that were filmed finished airing, and the general public pretty much forgot about Daisies. When the strike ended, instead of rushing the show back into production (like ABC did with their established hits, including Lost and Grey’s Anatomy), the network decided to hold off airing any new Pushing Daisies episodes until fall, which meant the show stayed off the air for ten long months. The result was that Daisies’ season two premiere debuted to less than half the audience its heavily promoted series premiere garnered, and the ratings continued to fall from there, leading to ABC cancelling the series less than two months after the second season premiere, in November 2008.

The general public had forgotten the show, but fans hadn’t, and those who tuned in to Pushing Daisies: Season 2 were treated to a very fun, albeit cut-off, thirteen episode season. Building on the strong characters and quirky settings introduced in the first season, season two ambitiously delved into the characters’ back stories, introducing us to several longterm storylines and constantly playing with the main characters’ relationships (having Olive be Emerson’s “Itty Bitty” partner, turning Chuck into the “Sidekick Avenger” and having Ned question the helpfulness of his powers).

The standout star of Season 2 is Kristin Chenoweth, who stole many a scene as the diminutive Olive Snook. Chenoweth got a lot to do this season, including pining over Chuck, living in a convent, investigating crimes with Emerson, bursting into song, and starting up a whole new romance. With such a stellar cast — featuring actors (and a narrator) who can make rhyming, tongue-twisting dialogue not just fun to hear but also believable — it says a lot when one actor stands out among the rest.

Perhaps most impressive about Pushing Daisies as a whole is its extremely consistent level of quality. With few exceptions (such as the rather uneven “Robbing Hood”) each episode of Daisies: Season 2 features wonderfully alliterative, fast-paced narration and dialogue, important developments for the characters, and an entertaining mystery. The few missteps — such as the annoying and poorly realized Charles Charles, father of Chuck — can be easily overlooked when the overall quality of the writing, sets, acting and direction is so high. When everything clicks — the characters, the overarching storylines and twists — like in the season’s best episode, “The Norwegians” — there’s nothing more entertaining to watch.

One of season two’s biggest story arcs involved Ned reluctantly learning more about his father, who abandoned him as a boy. Over the course of the season we learned some very interesting tidbits, including meeting Ned’s half-brothers and hearing about Ned’s father’s ability to do magic (in “Oh Oh Oh…It’s Magic”). It all seemed to be leading to a very interesting conclusion and perhaps a reveal of Ned’s father, but unfortunately we’ll never get to see it, as the storyline wasn’t addressed in the final episode, “Kerplunk” (which was originally meant to be a mid-season finale).

It’s truly a shame that we’ll never see these characters onscreen again. Seeing Ned, Chuck, Olive and Emerson in various disguises, cracking jokes and catching killers provided hours of entertainment for us here at IGN. We’re certainly interested to see what creator Bryan Fuller plans to do next, now that he’s left Heroes (again) to focus on creating new series.

Ned (Lee Pace) and Chuck (Anna Friel) may get a happy ending, but you’ll have to wait for the Pushing Daisies comics if you want to see it.

Yes, the Pushing Daisies comics are coming, and although original reports had the show wrapping its storyline with Marvel, Pushing Daisies mastermind Bryan Fuller tells us exclusively, “We got a 12-issue order for a comic book for DC Comics. I think the comic book is great, because it has all the characters in it, and it starts a new story. It’s basically Chuck, Ned, Emerson and Olive versus 1,000 corpses, so it becomes a zombie movie, but the zombies are articulate and smart and can do things that no other zombies can do. The Pie-Maker versus 1,000 corpses.”

The original idea was to bring the gang to the big screen. “It’s the movie idea that I wasn’t sure we’d get to do. [The plot] is not really so much the back nine as it would’ve been on the television show, it’s a whole new story that wraps everything up in a different context,” says Bryan, speaking at the Paley Fest celebration of Pushing Daisies’ final eps.

Look for the book this fall, but this summer, Comic-Con attendees may get a special treat. Says Bryan, “We’re hoping that we’ll have artwork as a giveaway at Comic-Con at the DC booth.”

There’s also a good chance the first 12 issues aren’t the last you’ll see of the Pie-Maker’s adventures. Bryan tells us, “I literally just finished outlining the 12-episode arc, which has an ending that propels us into another big story, so it’s kind of blackmailing them into ordering more comics, but we’ll see if that’ll happen. We were unable to blackmail ABC, and we had to go back and redo our [television] ending, so it’s more satisfying for the fans.”

Are you excited for a Pushing Daisies comic book? Or are you still hurting from the cancellation of the TV series? Hit the comments with your excitement or complaints.

The final three episodes of Pushing Daisies air on ABC beginning Saturday, May 30 at 10 p.m.
